AIHUA YANG ZELINSKY
Aihua Yang Zelinsky (aka: Aiwa Zelinsky), an adjunct professor and consultant, has taught at the Edward S. Ageno School of Business, Golden Gate University since 2007. Aihua began her teaching career at college level in 1985 and has taught at universities both in the United States and China.
Aihua Zelinsky was born in China and immigrated to the US when she was in college. In addition to her teaching, Aihua is active in community volunteering and believes in contributing to her community. She served as co-president of the League of Women Voters Eden Area (LWVEA). Currently she is the Board Director of the LWVEA. She is an elected Board Member of her neighborhood HOA. She has been a board member of APAPA East Bay Chapter (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association) since 2009 and currently serves as Vice Chair of APAPA East Bay Chapter. She is also a founder and a board director of California Alameda County Grand Jury Association. |
HUNG WEI
Hung Wei came from Taiwan in 1979 to study at UCLA, and earned a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Hung moved from L.A. to the Bay area in 1981, lived first in West San Jose, then moved to Cupertino in 1990. Her children attended local public schools. She volunteered in school activities, took leadership roles as a PTA president, School Site Council member, event chair and advisor to Verdadera (a Monta Vista student-run newsletter). Hung serves on the Board of Trustees of Fremont Union High School District in Sunnyvale from 2007 until now. She also serves on the Board of Managers of Northwest YMCA, the Fremont Union High Schools Foundation, Asian American Parent Association, and volunteers at the Butter Paddle benefiting Uplift Family Services. |
